This photo-narrative series explores the concept of new masculinities with a connection to nature as a way to embrace it and feel self-love. The male figure represented by Joan flows with the nature and weather conditions, holding the wind, the coldness, the water, and the sun, like engine machines that provoke a self-loving act. There is a purifying and strengthening effect on the subject like a spiritual and religious baptism ritual. These images were taken on a very cold and windy day in a natural pool, on the coast of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. This is the second work with Joan, who is one of the past winners of Mister Canarias Online, a beauty contest with an inclusive approach. The message conveyed is to love ourselves, and embrace everything that makes us different, at the end...
