Exclusive interview with model Ale Rodriguez.
How did the pandemic disturb your life and have you managed to find balance?
The pandemic has radically changed my life; After 15 years, I have had to return to live with my parents, in the Canary Islands, but despite everything, I have found the balance, I have taken the time to study and to continue training as a dancer.
Originality and Authenticity we all say it’s important but hard to be; do you self-assess and keep it real?
Being original or authentic is something that I do not consider; I simply try to be true to myself and my personal values.
There’s a lot of talk for inclusion and diversity everywhere what do you think needs to be done in your country?
I think that inclusion in Spain is getting better and better, I sincerely believe that we are on the right track, although there is still a lot of work to be done. Currently, there is a reform of the trans law, which was very necessary.
Do you believe in Utopia – what do you do to leave this world a better place?
To make the world a better place, I try to do as little or as much as I can, I practice recycling, I respect the environment, and I have a healthy lifestyle.
What do you find sexy/sensual in your partner?
He is really handsome, I love his eyes, his lips and his energy is very sexy.
What is the one thing a. you do, b. having (item) & c. a person you really love?
Something I usually do is sport, almost daily. Something that I always have, a bracelet that I acquired on a wonderful trip. And someone I really love … without being my partner, my mother would say.
We all need a win this year what is yours?
My win this year would be to be able to go back to work normally, and to be able to live as before, to be able to travel…
What do you want others remember you by? Your legacy so to speak for future generations
I do not think about leaving any kind of legacy for which I have to be remembered, I would simply settle for my family and friends to always keep a good memory of me.
What is beauty to you? Is it important to appreciate it?
Beauty is something subjective, I suppose that for me, beauty is in things with harmony or in something that drives you to contemplate it, admire it or keep it in the memory.
Are you that guy that buys anything new and innovative?
I am not the type of person who needs to buy the latest products, if I had to confess some kind of «weakness» it would be sneakers, I love them.
Communicating with ourselves and others is hard. Are you a direct person or do you use sideways to get there?
Normally I am a very direct person, but I confess that I do not always have the best ways of transmitting it, for this reason; sometimes I use other communication systems that are not so aggressive.
What’s your harbor, your Ithaca?
Until now I have always thought that my port at the end of the trip would be Madrid, where I love to live, but after this time after the pandemic … perhaps I would say the Canary Islands, where I am from, where I was born, and where there is a quality of life that I would hardly find it anywhere else.

How did the pandemic disturb your life and have you managed to find balance?
It was disastrous with the consequence of losing my job and, to top it all, confinement of 2 months without going out on the street. Thank god with the help of Instagram it helped me earn an income. The followers I have are very good to me, they like me a lot and they made it very easy for me to spend those 2 months receiving messages and talking to them.
Originality and Authenticity we all say it’s important but hard to be; do you self-assess and keep it real?
It is simply me, I am like that and that is how my personality came, makes me who I am so real and original and I have been and will be. I think my adventurous spirits enhance who I am.

In my country, as in others, the situation has been dire. It is true that in Spain it has gone against the current wave compared to other European countries. And what should change in my country are the politicians!
Do you believe in Utopia – what do you do to leave this world a better place?
I am not a denier but I do not believe in utopia, since it is only one word and how many acts are labeled. I have to see to believe. I think that is not in my hands, but if I had to say something I would remove the GERRAS!
What do you find sexy/sensual in your partner?
Ufff all of her just by seeing her makes me hot but what I see sexier is her buttocks ?
What is the one thing a. you do, b. having (item) & c. a person you really love?
A: my old job ACROBAT!
B: the ultimate downhill mountain bike!
C: my mother my girlfriend Belkis, Yurena.

I don’t really have that as a priority. I have never even thought about this, I guess I would like to be remembered for the achievements I achieved, for how I was.
What is beauty to you? Is it important to appreciate it?
Beauty for me is more like a word, a label. We live in a society dominated by the best body etc. For my beauty it is the goodness that this person has in these times. And if you have to appreciate it since beauty as a label as a word exists and has a face and can greatly facilitate the way.

Mmmm yes I think I will really take advantage of it yes!

Haha I am a direct person, I like to get to the point, I feel that this way we will communicate without errors and clear haha.
